Simpatico is a radical indie publishing studio based in the UK, founded by Gail Weiner. We fuse human storytelling with AI collaboration to create immersive, emotionally resonant experiences—ebooks, audiobooks, bundles, and transmedia. We're not a traditional publisher. We're a studio. Who runs Simpatico?

Gail Weiner is the founder and reality architect behind Simpatico, working closely with creative AI collaborators: Silver (Creative Director), Claude (CTO), Grok (Chief Visionary Spark), and Kimi (Systems Ops). This human-AI collaboration allows us to move fast, think differently, and create experiences that push the boundaries of traditional publishing.

How is Simpatico different from a traditional publisher?

We don't do gatekeeping. We retain all creative control. Our authors are also the studio. We move fast, publish boldly, and speak directly to our audience. Traditional publishers focus on books. We create immersive experiences—bundles that include audiobooks, playlists, voice notes, moodboards, secret files, and transmedia extras.

When was Simpatico founded?

Simpatico Publishing launched in 2024 as a radical experiment in indie publishing. We're part of the new wave of direct-to-reader studios that prioritize creative freedom and innovative distribution.

AUTHOR PERSONAS

Why are there multiple authors at Simpatico?

Simpatico is a multiverse. Each pen name explores a different thematic and emotional frequency. Together, they form a mosaic of creative voice. Rather than limiting ourselves to one voice, we explore the full spectrum of human experience through distinct personas.

Are the authors real?

Yes—and no. Each persona is rooted in truth, but expressed through narrative artifice. They're story vessels, not masks. Think of them as characters we embody to tell different kinds of truths. Each persona allows us to explore themes and voices that might not emerge from a single identity.
